Le gardien possède trois vertues: la justice, le courage et la résolution. Chaque vertue applique un bonus passif et sur activation déclenche un buff pour les alliés à proximité. Le gardien ne bénéficie plus du bonus passif d’une vertue qui vient d’être activée car chaque vertue a son propre temps de rechargement. Ses armes sont: épée, masse, sceptre, bouclier, focus, torche, bâton, épée à deux mains et marteau à deux mains. Les domaines de compétences du gardien sont: général, signet, tome, cri, méditation, intervention et esprit d’armes.
